When planning a trip for the whole family, including the children, it is best to be as prepared as possible for any eventuality. This is doable as meat will stay fresh for the first day and provide a great feast the first night. To makes things really interesting one can barbecue marshmallows over open flames for some sweetness.

Spaghetti is easily boiled and can be had with a napoletana sauce. It is a great dish as it is very filling providing one with enough carbohydrates after a full day's play. It is easy to prepare and again does not take up much space when packing in its dry form.

It is best to pack clothes, foodstuffs and medicines in separate compartments within a pack in order to get to whatever is needed in a hurry. There is nothing worse than having to look for something and not knowing where it is located in a pack. It is best to keep some sort of diagram on one's person that can be referred to when wanting to retrieve an article out of one's pack.

Allergic reactions may also occur by rubbing and brushing against plant life such as poison ivy. It is best to be prepared for this and to have an ointment with one in case this happens. All of these items do take up space and one must pack them in a compartment of their own for easy finding and application.

Being as prepared as possible allows for peace of mind. Packing just right and knowing where items have been packed is crucial for good retrieval and application. Vacations such as this do not come along all that often and when they do, one wants to make sure that it goes off without a hitch and is enjoyed by all.
