What It Means To Have Salvation Through Faith

By Steven Stewart

Everywhere in the world and all races, people have beliefs. They believe in a supreme being and a power greater than themselves. They may be cults or religions, but the majority of the people around them seems to have faith in them. They include Christians and Muslims whose religion is the most dominant. Some people do not believe in anything or anyone being more superior than them. They are known as atheists or pagans. However below is all about Christians and how they have trust in Salvation Through Faith.

The bible has quite some verses that talk about salvation, grace, and trust. The first is Ephesians 2:8-9. It primarily speaks about Christians being saved by their faith. This means that the grace of God will always be upon you and protect you from all evil as long as you have complete and strong faith in him. This means that without trust, a relationship with God will not be strong compared to when you do have trust.

The Bible talks about Adam and Eve being the very first of the human race. They were placed in the garden of Eden. The only rule was not to eat from the tree in the middle of the garden. They were warned of the consequences, but they chose to ignore it.

The bible compares the relationship between God and human beings with the relationship between a shepherd and his sheep. When you go to a farm and observe how sheep behave around the shepherd, you would understand. They completely trust their shepherd and always go in the direction he chooses for them.

The bible often compares the relationship between man and God to the correlation of sheep and shepherds. This is because people are required to have complete trust that God would never steer them wrong. This is the same way sheep believe the shepherd would never lead them to danger. However, the stray sheep often get harmed at an event suffers a loss of life at the hands of the wolf. The same way if a Christian stray away from God will be lured into sin and suffer for eternity if they do not repent.

Moses went up the mountain to get the ten commandments from God. When he came back, the people had assumed he was dead and worshiped other idols. However, after the commandments were read to them, their faith in God grew. They knew they had to follow all the commandments if they wanted to have the protection of God. The commandments were a way of strengthening their trust in Him.

The fact that Adam and Eve's per took in the forbidden fruit showed God that they had no faith in him. They thought they would be better knowing right from wrong. However, if they choose to have faith in him, they would have enjoyed living in the garden of Eden for eternity. They would have been saved from the hard life of the earth only if they believed in God.

According to Hebrews 11:6 it is impossible to please God without any faith. This means that no matter how good you are and how well you follow the laws of God, you can never be saved as long as you do not have faith in him.
